I thought he was around Marco level tbh but his performance against Killingham has been horrendous.

Sommers and Killingham rn are giving high YC1, I only say that as there is no chance Zoro is treating inbetweeners like say Yamato or Law like how he's done Sommers.

Sanji is currently outright losing to Killingham, not just because he doesn't have CoC — he's downright getting tagged constantly and he's canonically lost multiple times already. This is a stark contrast to Zoro, who was fodderising Sommers even when he wasn't using CoC and didn't get so much as a single scratch. Whereas Sommers was inferior to Zoro regardless of CoC, Killingham is currently superior to Sanji. The spoilers even say Nightmare Killingham landed another major hit on Sanji.

This means Sanji must be around the lower end of YC1 or high YC2, I'd place him as strong as post-WCI Luffy. I don't see Oda allowing these bums to ragdoll Marco like this.

No it doesn't. There was nothing inconsistent about Sanji's power level lol, only the Kizaru feat was particularly impressive compared to his level. You guys are taking an inch and running a mile.

This chapter is NOT saying that every single time Sanji's ever been hit in his life, he could've dodged it and chose not to. It's saying that Sanji generally fights recklessly and takes damage he otherwise could've avoided because he doesn't care to protect himself as much as he cares to protect others.

This doesn't mean that Sanji's been running face first into damage since the manga started and never ever should've been hit. That's foolishness — that would imply that Sanji has never made any effort to defend himself which is factually incorrect as he dodges and blocks attacks often.

Your example also makes no sense btw as you're comparing 3 different versions of Sanji, the one with the Kizaru feat was the strongest version, the BM feat iirc was the one shared with Luffy which isn't even a particularly impressive feat.

Start of Elbaf Sanji up to the end of this chapter was around high YC2/low YC1 and now he'll be stronger than that, and he'll also get CoC shortly too. That's all we know.

The realisation that Sanji was mentally nerfed since his introduction - and how he's gonna awake CoC soon - sure made his haters sleep deprived.

Zoro fans could've avoided this by just leaving Sanji fans alone from the start. Sanji being stronger than Zoro wouldn't make Zoro a better or worse character, so it's not like they had to do this. I can get why they're real defensive over Mihawk being stronger than Shanks, since that's actually relevant to Mihawk's character and it'd ruin him if there were a swordsman alive that's stronger than him, but it makes no sense with Zoro and Sanji.

This feat is so mid lmao, idk why you're calling it inconsistent as if it's something special to Sanji when he's literally sharing the feat with G3 Luffy 😂 Blocking an unbelievably low-end attack from Big Mom with help is not impressive, this feat isn't even half as impressive as Jinbe's feats against Big Mom.

Furthermore, this feat has absolutely nothing to do with Sanji's upcoming power-up. Sanji's power-up will be that he's harder to tag as previously he fought with little regard for his body. It's a defensive power-up.

This feat against Big Mom is an offensive feat that has no relation to Sanji dodging or successfully defending against more attacks lol.
