He didn't it was confirmed 2 chapters ago, where Hawkins was guessing it had to be Drake who freed Law. He didn't had to guess if Drake fought him with Law. Law beat him in a 1 vs 1 - Hawkins was cut into pieces while Law only was bleeding a little bit.

Zoro cuts the whole train in half in the same chapter Sanji's cutting noodles so its actually a good show of their different specialties
