I'm not talking about independent. If independent Usop and Nami more independent from what they suffer in their childhood. You don't get the point. It about character, friendship. Loyalty to Luffy 100% no doubt. But to others, Water seven one point, Zou one point.

Killing magistrate proof he cannot keep a promised, but that another point. There are 2 scene Zoro fighting just to get food or sake. Read more after the magistrate

Please show me the panel of Zoro killing someone for food in Wano.

If you want to talk about "breaking promises" then everyone did that. Luffy did that. Sanji did that. Law did that. Frank did that. Usopp did that. So why is Zoro "breaking promises" a big deal when everyone is doing it?
