I guess this chapter was Nami's time to say that Luffy will be pirate King as most of the SH already did

& it feels like a cheap rehash of Usopps moment in Alabasta... but Nami already had this moment when she helped luffy when fighting cracker.

Granted her panel with that speech was small as fuck... idk she deserved her own real moment, not that I dont like it but oda didn't have to give it the same set up as usopp

The headcanon and imagination of some people when they make up excuses let me really speechless!

Based on this we could do a representation of zoro's base stats

Low Sta.
Stat's don't exactly equal a win, there will always be hard counters and people who can just straight up stalemate due to balancing each other's stats out. Honestly if sanji or zoro ever fought it'd be a very equal fight

It feels way stronger this time cuz in WCI Nami wasn't really in danger, she had her homies and Luffy was there. This one is must more impactful cause Nami can't even lie about her faith in Luffy even facing death.

I'd rather actually see how Usopp and Nami got to that point, not skip over it.

It doesn't have the same impact or emotional weight behind their actual defeat.

Everyone has been rather carefree since this raid started, a few small notes of "we should take this serious" but the overall tone doesn't reflect that this is actually a dire situation for the alliance.

On paper these scenes can be good but the lack of panels actually showing their struggles is what makes it fall kind of flat.

And im a Usopp stan... usopp & Nami deserved a chapter for their fight, even if they got their asses beat. Display the tension through their eyes with how much they're struggling.

Yeah I liked the scene but I believe it would have been even more striking if the fight got more pages, even as a one-sided beatdown. Sadly Oda has to make concessions when so many things are happening.
Also curious to see the anime , I believe they will make the watchers feel the desperation more since they will very likely add more scenes of Nami and Usopp struggling

I'm really hoping Ussop and Nami get it together for at least some sort of feat tbh. Oda needs to represent the Strawhats better. Maybe this arc is just intended to be luffy actually living up to the title of fifth Emperor and next arc the rest of the Strawhats have a one v one to show they are YC and Vet levels

Possibly but I think everyone loses here first time around. Initially Luffy struggled with cracker solo & katakuri for 10+ hours.

Any strawhat under Luffy should face the same, if not even greater difficulty against a Tobbi Roppo or Commander.

Have them lose but bounce back and go into their fights with a serious attitude & plan.

Pain tolerance is an endurance feat. Running around is a stamina feat
