To be honest, Drake's performance was disappointing. Was expecting better from an hybrid zoan, yet Apoo could contend with his hybrid form(which is supposed to be his most balanced form) for a while in CQC despite not being a cqc specialist. Hope he has some cool finishing moves, otherwise, he seems standard for a SN. Someone like Urouge who not only is more physical focused, but has a transformation when backed against the corner may actually be stronger than him, let alone the top SNs, much less Luffy
Then Zoro's display was disappointing as well I guess?
-> Zoro was using CoA and normal slashes.
-> Drake was using his hybrid form, no CoA and normal slashes.
Drake never used a technique unlike Zoro.
And Apoo could hold against both when they were using only normal slashes, no techniques.

P.S: btw, it doesn't matter if Zoro only used two swords instead of three since for offensive, two swords is basically the same as three swords unless he uses techniques where the third sword is useful.

Thanks for the tag Rayan! As of right now, I can't exactly understand why people are saying that Drake's showing is disappointing thus far when nearly 400 chapters passed from his first appearance before we saw his Hybrid Form and nearly 500 chapters passed from then before we knew he had any named attacks (which only just happened 6 chapters ago when he finally switched sides). In the case of Haki, roughly 225+ chapters later, Oda reveals--via a COVERY STORY--that Drake has Busoshoku Haki.

If anything, we are still waiting to see what other tricks Drake actually has up his sleeve, so it's interesting to speculate about that since Oda still hasn't totally revealed Drake's hand. The Wano Arc seems to have been brought up as Drake's major appearance arc, and I fully believe that now that Wano has come into the spotlight AND Drake has switched sides, we're going to see more of his abilities.

As for OP: Pirate Warriors 4, if we see any of those moves confirmed in canon, I think that'd be pretty cool IMO especially the-flying- slashes-from-a-tail-whip which we've never seen a Zoan actually be capable of doing; however, we have seen that Drake is capable of claw slashes both in-game as well as in-canon so it's possible some in-game attacks/moves are canon--which ones, remains to be seen.

EDIT:

Now when it comes to what Drake has in store, I don't it would be too much for him to have at least Kenbunshoku in addition to Busoshoku as well as any of the Six Powers and more Sword/Mace techniques. I also feel like Drake should have something that stands out as a Zoan (aside from just being an Ancient Zoan and apparently the only one in the Marines at this point in time), but I'm not exactly certain if Oda will go THAT FAR.

The idea of an additional form is appealing, but we have noticed that Drake has a tail which was added in Chapter 996 during his fight with Apoo (and we also saw his clawed feet to a degree as well). As for why Drake didn't have a tail in his initial hybrid appearance, I really have no idea.

His recent showings haven't been really impressive, but the true problem is the fandom which goes wet for the same usual characters.

Drake has actually a lot to show imo.
He was tricked by Who'sWho and ambushed by Queen, all of this under the eyes of Hawkins. Everybody in his position would have been in trouble.
He sparred evenly with Zoro and was overpowering Apoo with his brute force until Zoro's speedblitz.

He probably is a proficent user of the six powers, knows how to use his mace and sword and he is for sure a damn tank. All things that added to his fruit should put him above someone like Page One which only has strenght.
I'm sure he is someone difficult to put down.

If Queen or Who'sWho will keep hunting him, he will show what he can do.

Thanks for the shoutout, @RayanOO.

Anyway, concerning powers, Drake could have an Awakening that he avoids using unless completely necessary. I already think he's fighting Kaido alongside the other Supernovas, so that would be the perfect time to show it off.

As for what his greater role will be, Drake will be the liaison between the events of Wano and the rest of the World. CP0 will most likely not report everything that's happened there in order to maintain control of the situation. Hearing that 1 or possibly 2 Emperors were defeated by pirates would send ripple effects across the globe that can't be contained.

In that sense, he'll be the 3rd Marine who's come to respect Luffy, following Smoker and Issho.

Of course, Drake could attempt to send this information without letting the government in on SWORD. Coby is definitely not the only Marine within ranks that's a part of it, and it likely has supports across several headquarters. Tracing it back will be difficult, and containing it impossible if Morgans catches a whiff of the news from Marine officials.

I'm keeping on this, Drake is gonna fight Queen

Zoro no diffed Apoo and Drake was shitting his pants.
Dude is stronger than Luffy easily who got no diffed by Apoo.

How does it feel to be a Zoro hater getting shit on by the author himself all the time?
