First, you dont know how many tried....
Second, mastering Enma will make him stronger, not just having it...
Third, cutting the cliff is NOT a proof of a boost in power, quite the opposite, because he couldnt tame it right away he cutted more than he wanted, and because you must be strong to wield Enma it/she tried to suck off more haki/Ryou than necessary...
Fourth, if Zoro had control on it right away he would have cut the tree only....

Oda can get really convoluted and layered with his writing but most of the time he's a simple writer. Not sure why people waste their time making so many convoluted theories when it's safer to assume that Oda has something simple planned out.

zoro uses enma , intends to cut a tree , cuts a cliff and is drained. He Has cut cliffs and casually as well before but it requires more haki/willpower to use as opposed to to other blades.
zoro trains to be compatible with enma, now that he is, he is stronger than he was when he was getting drained using it.

Dude, Luffy isnt that far from others, his will make him King, its his will that make him get up again and again; he was one-shotted by kaido like kid... He was koed by many people and survived because he was lucky sometimes, ivankov before marineford, by law after marineford, by kuma in sabaody....
He has not only the Will of a King, he also has the luck of a King

I doubt benn is that much stronger than shanks's other comanders, considering the marine put his name along side the likes of yassop and lucky roo.

The 2nd strongest is always special or at least thats the trend so far.

Plus the words of the Vivrecard referring Ben as the moon and Shanks the sun it truly gives a message of them being close.

Its not like kaido said he was amazing, and why the need of the pannel in this discussion?
I didnt refute anything, it wasnt stated in the story how many tried and died, so, by basic grammar you can affirm that you CANNOT say that only two managed to survive...
Plus, you dont know if oden and Zoro where the only one trying....
There's too much you dont know to affirm what you say; and there's too less information about the sword to affirm how epic is for Zoro to not die...or something near death anyway...
Imo Zoro is amazing, and has 0 needs from zorofans to overhype him
