WB just a few chapters ago has shown wary ness about fighting Kaido. The fact is those Yonko fought him for territory.

In fact, the first emperor is Linlin not WB
Roger became Great Pirate before WB
Linlin became Emperor before WB, probably Great pitate before or the same time as WB too.

WB ruled nothing.... he never stopped kaido , shamks and BM from becoming emperors or building emlires

Marco is admiral level per the databook. Also at MF no admiral could overpower him. If he clashed equally with Akainu physically the conclusion you should get is that BM would choke Akainu too.

Never while considering those scenarios was It an issue whether WB can beat Kaido, but the collateral damage such an invasion would bring, let's not twist what was said. Also, the WB pirates didn't know anything about the details of Odens loss, how the odds were on Kaido's side and how Oden was sneaked off the win by the hag.
