Shueisha clearly like having Kanae Ito around, she's sang a cover for Memories, has a photo with some SH seiyuu, they like Carrot as well. Of course it's a given I believe Ito signed herself up to a role that will only get more prominent as we draw closer to the end.

If Carrot's not Mosako, then the cover story idea would have to be setting her role for a future arc most notably the moon.

I whole-heartedly believe Carrot's role is meant for bigger things and how we approached her as a Nakama candidate was flawed. She's the king of white lions, she mirrors the MC and even Imu who respesents the dark side of the moon coldest and away from the Sun which the light side of the moon...

Carrot's mugi agenda while had a footing at first; ultimately was flawed because it was thought Carrot's bond with Luffy would lead to her joining but as it turns out it's to mirror them. And her role is a lot bigger. They can be intriguing and set up future plot threads.

It's as if Oda's done a phenomenal job in reminding you of Carrot's existence by not including her in the story currently. Just a reminder post-write out every year he's included her in covers, spreads, and 1 very peculiar Volume cover.

Oh, and Carrot's role will be much bigger too. Once we get to the moon lore, prep for everything coming. Also, it seems Bonney's ship has sailed too since she's labeled as an Elbaph resident in the Volumes index, and she just wants her pops to get better staying with Lilith.

I respect and appreciate all fellow Carrot enjoyers. In the end we'll get the reward of her integral role for waiting all these years.
