I agree with this approach to the panels. Mihawk is far more stoic than S-Hawk. If S-Hawk is base Mihawk, and S-Hawk is expressive, then something must have happened to make current Mihawk less so. With Lucci and now Kaku having awakening, it makes me wonder if the WG has some way of inducing a full, controllable zoan awakening now. Maybe the Impel Down Jailer Beasts were an earlier, less successful attempt.
