IMO, CP9 in Water 7 > Baroque Works >>>> CP9 in Enies Lobby
CP9 in Water 7 was downright terrifying. Not only did they seem absolutely unbeatable, but the added twist of them posing as allies just made them more compelling -- especially since it was the OG 4 of Lucci, Kaku, Kalifa and Blueno...
We're legit in an arc where the villain can shrug off a combined attack from Rocks, Roger, Whitebeard, Garp, Big Mom, and Kaido -- and the secondary/tertiary antagonists MIGHT give Jimbei a run for his money
:willight:
It's funny cuz feat-wise it's lowkey not even that debatable, we're just giving these bums the benefit of the doubt cuz it's "endgame" or whatever :kobeha::kobeha:
Thing is, every time this has happened Sanji ends up getting bailed out by a crewmember - I get that it's a core part of who he is, but at the very least Oda should introduce some consequences for it, idk. I think it would be way, way more interesting than what we're getting now
LOL, neither. They're comically bad fights.
Both opponents have already been beyond embarrassed in this arc lmfao. It's like Luffy vs. drugged-up Hody, but worse.
Considering how strong Imu is compared to the rest of the verse, I think it would've at least made sense to have Zoro fight...
Maybe I'm misreading this, but he doesn't specify which 5 characters he's talking about?
Anyway, the part that absolutely took me out was this statement: "I don't draw unnecessary panels"
