As far as we know you cant turn off your regen, its an innate thing. Therefore that last attack from Loki straight up disintegrated Harald regen be damned. Thats how I see it anyways.

Harald believed that Loki could kill him even with his regen and it happened. Its not like he turned off his regen when Loki finished him off.
Dude what are you talking about. Did you read the entire last two chapters? He stopped being himself haflway through 1169 and was going to go after the fruit until Gaban and Shanks + the guards stopped him.
Uh, Harald was actively trying to reach Loki mate but Gaban, Shanks, the guards were stalling him.
And the end result is what matters.
Fruit Loki beat the shit out of Harald and wouldve continued doing so until he killed him wether Harald regained his senses or not.

No it just meant that discussion time was almost over and they would become enemies again, we saw on screen Loki manhandle Harald who tried to attack him.
Harald couldnt do shit to him when he was influenced by the seal, he would've been killed regardless because he couldn't handle Loki in a straight fight.
Oda just let him regain is senses for a bit so he could talk to Loki one last time.
