Bottle episodes can be good if used for character exploration.

You know the good thing about recap episodes for one piece is that they are entirely skippable. THEY HAVE ZERO NEW CANON CONTENT. THEY ARENT EVEN LISTED AS FULL EPISODES. YOU ARE DOING THIS TO YOURSELF!!

Well...Fuck. I agree. For filler episodes, the staff lists were absolutely cracked for those episodes. Definitely some of the best animated pre-time skip episodes without a doubt.

At least the show looks consistently good even in minor moments.

I think that focusing on primarily actions scenes in less important episodes while going all out for bigger episodes is still a perfectly reasonable approach for the series currently.

Does Oda remember that?
