Unironically Luffy would have done better in G4 than what he did in G5. Lucci was up pretty quick while Luffy was busy being an old raisin. Wheras in G4 he would have knocked Lucci for way longer especially in boundman and wouldn't have suffered the after effect.

A black blade isn't supposed to be a power-up it is the achievement. Zoro isn't going to be stronger when he makes a black blade but rather the result of him being that strong.

True Oda already gave the answer; he made Zoro fight both Kaku and Jabra while carrying and getting hindered by Usopp then went on to defeat the guy stronger than Jabra so as you said ''keep coping''.
