More control over his rubber body allows him to move arteries, veins and his heart muscles more freely. It's very obvious and not implausible at all.
Balloons are made from rubber and he turned his body into a balloon way before.
Pumping in compressed air for additional force and rapid change...
I don't hate his character but his place in the story is wierd for me.
Usually antagonists that rival luffy in strength are properly "advertised" but he was just one of many BM's children and delivered an astonishing fight out of nowhere.
And then he also kinda vanished again. He never was...
Low anime/manga literacy detected. Tons of manga/anime depict the nukes either explicitly or allegorically. Akira as an early example or AoT as a more current one but there's hundreds inbetween.
Oda being Japanese isn't the reason he wouldn't depcit the nuking of Japan in OP - at all...
Depends on how much strength I get.
As just a normal dude, OP is kind of a 40k-esque hellscape where your life means nothing. Imagine being a marine in the new world: just some random dude with a musket. The bullets are completely worthless except from granting you a quick exit and you're...
I don't have much attachment to the title of "Yonko" and I don't care about some checklist items that need to be ticked for it.
It's just a title but Lufy's position as THE protag is worth infinitely more.
The introduction of Haki more or less removed all the technicalities from fighting in OP because it's just a matter of

Again, heavy spoilers ahead for everyone who hasn't caught up with the manga yet:
HOW the fuck did Bojji resurrect? Did I miss something or did his heart just start beating again for no reason? NVM, I just reread it: (former) King Desha randomly walked...
Technically, I never finished the original. Played it on an emulator many years ago and can't even remember most of it, let alone where I left off but with the remake announced, I will give it another shot!
I'm definitely happy this old gem wasn't forgotten by Nintendo.
