We actually don't really know what it means since Oda hasn't elaborated even in the sbs everyone seems to cite.

Side character as in not the protagonist. If I said main character then I'd be including MCs and at that point I don't totally agree. So best "main cast member" works best I guess.

Sanji is the best side character in the big 3

How do zoro fans fall for the same crap every arc? How many times does Oda have to repeat the same pattern before they realize ?

Sanji got the exoskeleton because he is the shield of the pirate king, but even the best shield will shatter if it takes too much. This is what Oda is trying to tell us here. There is a fine line between protecting and sacrificing, and Sanji is teetering on this line. The exoskeleton should be...

Weren't you a Sanji fan in 2019

I wish certain people from my past would've reached this conclusion before things fell apart

Kurobi and jabra both had Sanji being self sacrificial. I need to reread Mr 2 but I'm sure there was something there too.

If you're a Sanji hater there's basically no point in reading OP anymore, nobody else gets as much development.

??????

All that shit talking they did last week despite being warned about the ramifications, and now they look twice as stupid as before. I guess they had to let out all of their grievances before it was too late, venting before the inevitable tidal wave crashes down on them that is Sanji with CoC.

Are you implying it won't happen? If you're simply making fun of how long it's taken, just realize that Zoro didn't get CoC until 2021, and Luffy got it in like 2009. Comparatively, Sanji didn't get that much later than Zoro.

I didn't expect your cope to run this deep

like i told all the zolitards, just wait for 1196 and all will make sense. they didnt listen. now they all look like iqlets. especially shishio

Worstgen's tweet immediately brings my mind to this moment, where he let Jabra stab him so that he could find the optimal opening to land his kick.
