I feel it would prove quite the waste if characters like Akainu and Kizaru didn't awaken

We’ll have at least 1 logia awakening. Besides that, I get the feeling that Oda doesn’t really know why to do with them. It’s a very delicate line between making an overpowered awakening and one that’s different from regular powers but not too strong.

At the end of the day, some characters that awaken may not even use their awakenings that much.

I still beleive Diamante and Gladius have awakened and also Perospero most likely has shown awakening and Enel may have awakened.

I wonder if Catarina Devon, Sanjuan Wolf and Vasco shot will turn out to be awakened, they might have been df users before they got put in impel down and were regarded as big name pirates before they were put in level 6 jail.
