Speculations What if Zoro never gets a supreme grade?

While supreme grades are often seen as an indicator that one is a master swordsman, there have been a handful of top tier sword masters that don’t have supreme grades. Specifically Oden and Ryuma.

I think it could likely be the case that the greatest swordsmen have such great skills that they don’t need supreme grades. That is why Ryuma only had a great grade. Zoro, being ryuma’s descendant, will likely follow in his footsteps.

I think he’ll turn the sandai kitetsu black against Nusjuro, which will boost the sword to a great grade. Ultimately Zoro ends the series with 3 great grade blades.

Sandai Kitetsu is the lowest grade, it would become only a skillful grade if turned into a black blade.

And if he ever achieves turning it into a black blade, it's likely all his swords would be, so he'd have two supreme grade blades, Enma and Wado Ichimonji.

Your blade does provide you with extra stat but not by much.

- Your Haki matters more.
- Not every Sword is like Enma who seeks for a worthy Owner.
- Momo holds Ame-No-Habakiri which is 21 Grade sword same as Zoro 2 swords. And coicidently Wado Ichimonji gives zoro no trouble at all where as Enma and Sandai kitetsu are called problem child.

- Similarly , All Supreme grade sword are like Wado , Ame no habakiri only.

- Shodai is Confirmed Cursed sword we know that for the longest. There are chances Shodai Kitetsu is the strongest 12 Supreme grade blade.
- Yoru is the strongest blade in all the fields and Black blade category as well. Marineford hinted at mihawk calling yoru strength difficult to hold back. Most probably a cursed blade too.

- Ace , Murakumogiri, Fujitora blade are better Hakiless. If zoro were to fight these his swords might break without Haki , already hinted while fighting Ryuma , who was superior blade to Wado and Sandai.

- Moment Haki comes into play , strength of the blade changes completely. Which is Zoro will beat Mihawk and Attain black Blade.

- Shusui though Being a 21 grade sword , Might inferior grade in past , is useless in anyone hands unless it's given Haki of that level. Zoro holding Shusui was no Improvement except for some base Stat which diminished by Haki coating Multiplier.

- Roger and Whitebeard Coated it with haki and Fought , And Nasujuro and Zoro have used Haki and fought.

- Where as Fujitora and Whitebeard uses blade to channel their Devil fruit Powers. No Haki involved like Marineford Whitebeard. Calling Fujitora as strong as Roger , Nasujuro , Mihawk because He holds a Supreme grade sword is plane Dumb.

Haki + Swordsmanship >> DF + Swordsmanship > Swordmanship

Roger , Nasujuro , Mihawk , Zoro >> Whitebeard (DF) , Fujitora , Law > Bigmam , Vista.

Pure Haki Users >> DF enchanted Sword Users >> Giant swordsmanship and basic Sword Skills.

Strength Wise.

EoS Though I believe Black Blade to a class of it's own , Enma , Wado , Sandai will remain , Meito , Wazamono only.

But if rank do increase , Then 2 Supreme Grade sword and If Haki is too strong , 3 Supreme Grade swords.
