What up biotches.
This is a thread I’ve wanted to make for a minute now, as I strongly believe I have cracked Oda’s code and I know exactly where his manga is going and what is coming after Elbaf.
I’m not about to go tooting my own horn again but for those of you who have been following Papa Lee closely, you will know I predicted Shamrock having the Cerberus fruit in 2023, and I predicted the events of Egghead with near 100% accuracy.
This is not because Papa Lee is some unprecedented genius given divine foresight by the GODmirals themselves (although yes that is in fact true), predicting One Piss is actually really easy when you acknowledge that Oda is repeating the events of the pre timeskip.
Let’s compare Egghead and Shabondy for a second.
-Both arcs were Info Dump Arcs that set up the final war of the pre and post timeskips (Ace’s execution and the World Sinking)
-Both arcs began with battle royals (the supernovas/the Yonko and Admirals)
-Both arcs were escape/runaway arcs
-Both arcs were arcs where we fought against the World Government but didn’t “defeat” them the way traditional arc villains are defeated.
-Both arcs feature the Straw Hats getting saved from the WG by outside interference (Rayleigh/The Giant Warrior Pirates and Emeth)
Now there were differences between the arcs for sure, Shabondy was a defeat for the Straw Hats while they successfully escaped in Egghead together, Kizaru was cold and calculating in Shabondy and an emotional wreck in Egghead, but structurally the arcs were almost identical.
When you recognize that Oda is structuring the post timeskip the exact same way he structured the pre timeskip, this manga becomes remarkably easy to predict, because we can say with near certainty what will happen in the grand scheme of things in the future.
This is why we can pretty safely say One Piece only has about 2.5 story arcs left. 2.5 because we are roughly halfway through Elbaph, the post timeskip Amazon Lily.
So what are the two major arcs that we have after Amazon Lily?
Well, the Marineford of the post timeskip will be the “History War”, this will be the final EOS war against the inner WG which will lead into One Piece’s true final villain (Blackbeard/the Sea Devil/whatever).
But that brings us to the Impel Down of the post timeskip. The arc which I believe to be Raftel. This will be the arc where Luffy actually becomes the Pirate King. But more importantly, this is what all of those panels I posted above are leading up to.
I believe Raftel will be a giant free for all war between all Admirals, all Yonko, potentially all Shichibukai and potentially even Akainu himself depending on what kind of mood you catch me in.
Oda has been establishing that all of the major players of the One Piece world are currently on the move, and that the Yonko in particular are making moves for the One Piece. Blackbeard himself even said that the WG is also trying to get in on the fun (which is why I believe the Navy is coming to Raftel as well).
So peep this:
Impel Down is a pirate prison that stretches under the ocean. Impel Down was also stressed as being “hell itself” on many occasions. By parallel logic, Raftel is likely an island either currently in the sky with no means of access (like a sky island) or potentially just straight up in space. While Impel Down was hell, Laugh Tale will be like a joyful paradise island where “he laughed” or what the fuck ever. Potentially Laugh Tale is the last island that actually exists from the First World predating the Void Century and the Ancient Kingdom.
So there were three phases to Impel Down:
Phase 1: The Breakin and defeat by Magellan
Phase 2: The recovery and making it to Ace only to find out Ace was taken
Phase 3: the breakout and proceeding to Marineford
So there will then by three phases to Raftel:
Phase 1: the “breakin”. This is where all parties will fight to actually reach Raftel and Luffy wins
Phase 2: the “making it”, this is where the Straw Hats will actually reach Raftel and find out the true history/find the One Piece. For all intents and purposes this is where Luffy becomes the Pirate King
Phase 3: the “breakout”. This is where we actually leave Raftel and head to the final war.
Now there are definitely some gaps here. For one, Raftel had Magellan, the big looming baddy who functioned as the overarching enemy all characters based their movements on. So who is the Magellan of Raftel?
And of course, it has to be this guy:
The character with the long-awaited “Water” Devil Fruit, the Guardian of Raftel and the One Piece, a character so powerful even Yonko Blackbeard and his crew were unable to approach him or learn anything about him at all.
Who the fuck is Burn Scar? Idfk. I have some deranged speculations but I’m not the History Channel and you all don’t care about Aliens.
What I can say for now is that Raftel should have that all powerful enemy who functions as a “Gatekeeper” to the One Piece, a character who all of the other top tiers will be fighting to make it past, that one final arbiter keeping guard over the true history of the world and the history buried under the sea.
Now there are definitely some gaps in this theory, and I don’t pretend to have all the answers. Is the Burning Man evil? Is he someone we will have to kill or is he actually an ally awaiting Soy Boy? If all the top tiers fight during Phase 1 of Raftel, who will there actually be to escape from in Phase 3 and how will all of the top tiers actually return for the true final war? Do the Gorosei just sit around sweating while the One Piece is claimed? Or do they teleport out to fight as well? Does Deskainu leave his paperwork unprotected, or does he come to kill all the Pirates and become the Marine King? So many questions, so few answers. But I think all will become clear in time.
