Zoro and Rayleigh don't have any similarities that sets them apart from the rest, like, the obsession with love for Sanji/Gaban or the obsession with adventure that Luffy/Roger have. They both drink but I don't recall Rayleigh showing too much love for it like Zoro.

Both have the eye scar. Both are master swordsmen. Both drink a lot. Both are conquerors. Both are the PK's first mate, and both are the first to join the crew.
Any further and it's basically like Oda's screaming "RAYLEIGH IS A PARALLEL TO ZORO!!! ZORO IS THE NEW RAYLEIGH!!!" directly in your ears

I think Rayleigh really resembles Sanji with fighting Kizaru and stopping him also a great swimmer, maybe Sanji is just Rayleigh and Gaban combined what do you guys think.

Because their personalities are inherently different? Doesn't change the fact Ray is Zoro's parallel. Both the RHM and #2 of the PK's crew.

Oda has given enough parallels that Luffy doesn't need to. Gaban was new and his mannerisms were already similar to Sanji in regards to the significance of love, so Luffy made the connection to help build up the parallel. Plus, character-wise, Rayleigh isn't that similar to Zoro in behaviour but is when it comes to positions played on their crews.
