Theory The One Piece is…

#1
I recently watched this iconic scene because it’s my favourite one

I thought to myself "Wait…if the One Piece tells us a funny tale, how can everyone understand it?"
Only Oden understood the Ancient Language of the Void Century but everyone laughed at the same time. It’s not like he read the tale and they only laughed in the end. Oden was with everyone else and most of them sat on the ground behind Roger.
It’s like they watched something… the treasure is a TV!
Joy Boy is from an Advanced Kingdom so it makes sense.
I think the original Mother Flame is the energy source of the TV.
Joy Boy either documented his funny adventures or created a cartoon which tells the story of the Void Century!
I don’t have to tell you the connection between Nika and cartoons.
Cartoons made us laugh and are source of joy in this world.
I personally think that Joy Boy's cartoon was like a classic cartoon from the 1930's

Very interesting twist and premise, not sure I'm a fan of it but I respect it definitely and it makes sense with the current direction of OP and thus themes of it. Oda would definitely do something like this. The OP world being revealed as post apocalyptic, even twice over has been a mind fuck too, thus having INSANE implications on the lore and what we actually know of the present world too.

It makes me think of the ancient comic of Sora vs Germa too, something we still barely know about and how Sanji's mom is called Sora too of all things...Plus Germa being super sentai warriors effectively and thus a type of TV show.

I wonder what other big twists/reveals are yet to come that we couldn't have predicted or didn't think were likely at least. The flooded world one was the most likely to be guessed but we've also had post apocalyptic world, I can't remember if the ancient kingdom was said to be extremely advanced before recently but I guess so, the mother flame reveal (and thus a nod to Prometheus mythology even more, along with Big Mom's homie ofc), the Elbaf mural, the whole Nika thing and so on. We've still yet to learn the real name of Onigashima too and why Wano was the country of gold or w/e.)

For what its worth, this is a really unique and interesting theory, props man. It's kind of sweet and endearing at least, I would be a lot more positive about it if One Piece was a much shorter series and thus I was younger and less cynical but I think you really hit the nail on the head of what Oda is trying to do with One Piece and thus its themes, values and w/e. You've understood Oda's spirit/heart/intentions whatever.

🤔 why was i tagged in this
I thought you might like the whole One Piece being a TV angle. I don't know anything about that character you have in your pfp and sig but I feel you might appreciate this somehow lol.

Ahhh 🤔 I mean going off context clues what the one piece is, is pretty obvious,

I always said Luffy and Robins dreams are connected

Robin finding the true history and what happened during the void century is the one piece is it what will make Luffy the pirate king

One Piece = The True History either a polo glyph or letter and some treasure left behind

Likely details on what imu Is

Thank you for your compliments :owo:

The build up for the treasure is sooo long and stretched, the expectations are huge
I hope he can do it justice
Either way he can't satisfy every single fan, some will be disappointed and some will laugh like Roger
