I just wonder if observation haki can detect these thorns and if armament or CoC can protect or even counter them, surely they must? 1% Zoro alone was stronger than multiple scabbards and he blocked a combo from 2 characters far stronger than the characters you mentioned, add Lanji's little blue flame and he gets a bit stronger.
So instead of blocking hakai and breaking his bones he launches a CoC coated attack against hakoku sovereignty+Gaban's shit which Zoro already blocked+Jinbo? Zoro wins.
