I do think it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Oda can easily just have Gunko handle herself, maneuver around Jimbei and get Colon while styling on the weaker Straw Hats, but there's nothing really stopping a straight up fight. It'll make clear just how far his respect for Jimbei goes, especially with the Holy Knights in the mix. I'm interested, I think I'd prefer a clear fight and if both look great that's great, I'm not big on clashes that leave things vague or try not to have certain characters look bad ever.

Yeah, Jimbei seems like the main Straw Hat Oda hasn't made room for lately aside from Brook. Usopp's just weak, but Jimbei is strong so it's strange he hasn't had more involvement in arcs that have a lot of fighting.
