like I said, maybe Akainu will be the blueno before Imu Or he’ll be a final fight for a MUCH WEAKER character than Luffy
Oda doesn't care about powerscaling, we have always known. Plot > powerscaling.
Oda can make Akainu prime Roger level if he wants. And tbf, Akainu as the strongest marine ever would make sense since he Is one of Luffy's final fight.
We are not talking about some secondary dude: FA, 5 billions, killed Ace, etc. He and BB can be High top tiers no problem, and then Luffy and Imu god tier for the final fight.

Like sure he knocked the fuck out of Sentomaru but he was smiling and reminiscing before that. He may have "killed" Vegapunk but it was nothing personal. He even wanted to quickly cut Bonney in half so she doesn't feel pain, truly one of the greatest allies we've had in the story 🥹
