Interesting detail to point out but Gunko seems to be hiding her heterochromia. Only her left eye is shown to Colo Pirates, Brook even notices something is up. Either it’s an indication to her identity or it’s hiding some broken ability as befitting of dojutsu in shonen battle series

Great chapter, I feel Elbaf has a far better set-up than the last few arcs. There's actual thrill and mystery looming.
Now I'm wondering where this is going... Sommers will make a transmission next chapter informing all of Elbaf that the children have been kidnapped forcing the Island into some twisted Battle Royale state where the parents have to kill other giant who refuse to join the WG. Meanwhile the 3 HKs split up, each one in a different cardinal direction east, north and south to witness the carnage.
Then scene change to the Heavens Realm where a silhouette informs Elder God "Elbaph" about turmoil in the Sun Realm and asking wether they should mobilize the troops.... "Elbaph" then responds that the "true-blood" giants don't bother themselves with the lower realms, unless...

Haki is a limited resource. Logia usage is a limited resource.
As far as we know Gorosei/God's Knights regen has no resource, so there's no reason to waste energy moving/using Haki/using Fruit. Gunko can redirect attacks, but she doesn't need to dodge if she doesn't want to.
Obviously there have to be weaknesses, but, as of now, her Regen is simply what Saturn said it was "if she worried about getting shot, she would have dodged".
Gunko's pose afterwards makes me think Usopp didn't even catch her off guard; she's supposed to take Colun hostage, and blowing him up would be bad. So, she took the hit, rather than redirect it and risk it blowing up Colun.
People who think it's a durability issue are addicted to power scaling like some people are addicted to crack.
Oda is an artist; Gunko is getting blown up because he wants to be able to redraw her putting herself back together, and wants to give Usopp a cool moment in Elbaph. That's all it is, and we've got people power scaling Gecko Moria and Doffy and shit because Usopp shot a chick and it did no actual fucking damage, holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

It's also annoying as hell that despite fighting all of the Gorousei on Egghead the Straw Hats seemingly have no idea who they encountered.... Meanwhile Brook immediately recognizes a potential Holy Knight. Maybe I am wrong but no one, not even Robin or Jinbei made any comment about the friggin top of the WG standing in their way. The only comment I remember is Luffy calling Warcury "some self important government guy".
