The idea of Gaban fighting them is great. I wanna see how he handles Sommers' and Gunko's abilities.
Thing is I still have a hard time seeing them as weak or mid SHs opponents.
It's difficult to write around an awakened Zoan with a trident spear, Sommers' thorn ability and Gunko's arrows that can pierce and choke.

They are all very dangerous and lethal. That's totally not comparable to Black Maria's lame fire for example. Will see

I'd love it if one of the God's Knights actually crapped their pants when they saw Demonio Fleur. There was no Cipher Pol presence at the end of the Robin/Maria fight in Onigashima, everything was on fire, they couldn't see shit via the Marys. Also I'm pretty sure Bao Huang was down for the count by then, too...

The WG should have no idea that Robin can turn into a huge demon lady.

Robin's so cool, I hate how the fanbase is obsessed with making a victim of government sponsored terrorism fight, when her entire arc in Enies Lobby was about how she was sick of running and fighting for survival.

The Straw Hats WANT to protect Robin, that's why Nami's so cool. Nami's "Protect Robin!" against Saturn in Egghead was one of my favorite moments of the arc: even the weaker Straw Hats will fight the pinnacle of evil to save their friends, total homies.
