That's why Act 3 is so ridiculous to me. THIS WAS A DRUNK SUICIDAL MAN HOLDING BACK BECAUSE HE WANTED LUFFY TO SURPASS HIM AND BECOME JOY BOY
I'm glad I like Act 3 now, it was really rough there for a few years. I hope future developments make people like Wano Act 1-3 more. Act 3 is a great arc, just not a good climax, because... well, we're not done, as shown by Yamato's Cover Series, Caribou, and Teach.
