How is anyone gonna actually believe that Kashimo is "obviously" in line with the themes of the strongest like Sukuna and Gojo? In his depicted fights he is 1-2 and has only ever beat Panda. NAME A CHARACTER WHO CANT BEAT PANDA. SO really he's fuckin 0-2. As much as I like his whole character vibe, he doesn't have enough backstory or showings to say that he was Top 5. (no character written by Greg Akutami does btw) We get like 3 pages of flashback where he's sitting around being old and that's it. This is the whole Dumbledore is gay stuff all over again.

Maki was cool until she got hit with the "Itachi" trope. Crazy.

And Gege "killing off" Nobara just to bring her back as a plot device to take down Sukuna is fucking insane.

That's how you destroyed two of the best female characters right there.

Maki was cool and had a high ceilimg as a character. Turning her into female Toji was a major mistake.

And Nobara being "dead" wasn't that much of an issue - holding her come back off until the very very end of the most pivotal fight (and saying "she just woke up") was some of the top 10 laziest writing decisions in the last decade of manga. And Gege has at least another 5 on that list lmao

From spamming Waki to being transformed into female-Toji, we saw it happen in Sakurajima colony.
Gege went full retard, especially when Maki already had her own character developnent after killing her own clan members.

He had typical shonen MC characteristics, i.e., kind, sort of dumb, and meek. Bonus: A demon alongside him to provide unlimited cursed energy/chakra.

Tbh, it was Gege's fault. Kenjaku vs Yuta would have been so much better than Kenjaku vs Takaba.

It is funny if you think about it. Both of the major villains were taken out by tricks, otherwise they would not have been able to defeat them.

Gege had 2 options, power creep or BS ending.
He never thought about the 3rd one; extending the series and putting in effort to develop Yuji's technique and allow other sorcerer's to grow.
It was easily a 700 chapters worth of manga.
