We'll see how Oda resolves the issues with the Holy Knights. Gaban is gonna get his shine for now, but once Luffy and co arrive, if they take over it'll be a matter of whether Gunko faces off against Jimbei and friends or she faces someone else (wouldn't shock me if Loki gets a Holy Knight match-up). One route isn't the best for Jimbei, the other at least offers him making up for the loss.

Gunko's arrows still have to tag you in order to redirect your movements based on what was shown of her tapping both Jimbei and Brook, so someone quick and evasive should be able to offer more resistance but we'll see if Jimbei notices and how he makes use of that. Then there's regeneration to deal with. Honestly, Gunko's a pretty solid fighter, no shame to Jimbei for getting captured. He's in his area in between the mid-trio and the Wings, we'll see where he is as arcs pass. His joining the crew gave the crew more prestige and infamy so he'll always have that.

I think if Oda introduces more enemies, Jimbei using a strategy to put up a fight against Gunko wouldn't be shocking, otherwise there's a lot of strong fighters available and Jimbei will have to compete to get his moments this arc.

Luffy, Zoro, Sanji have always and will always be the top 3 in the crew. And this is coming from someone who does not like Sanji at all. Jinbei is strong on paper but in practice Oda insists on making him a cuck. If Jinbe was actually relevant he would be with Loki right now instead of getting rocked by the bastard holy knights. Just look at him being tied up by that bandaged bitch this latest chapter, pathetic. Not to say Sanji isn't pathetic himself, but still.
