The last anime episode made me realize something. Zoro’s CoO does not only allow him to feel people presence(like in FMI or PH) or to feel when people are hiding something (with Kiku) but it also enhance his senses.

In the latest episode, Zoro said that Lucci cannot hide himself from him because he can smell his animal’s stench.
At first this seems to be a throwaway line but it might not be when you remember that:
-In Wano Zoro was able to smell blood on the magistrate and he understood that the magistrate was the street killer
-Zoro was able to smell booze miles away (before the raid)
-Zoro was able to hear the shamisen miles away

So CoO enhanced Zoro’s sense of smell and hearing. Therefore Zoro might really keep one eye shut to enhance his sight.

My exact point. I don't know why my fellow Zolo fanbase is filled with low iq clowns like @L57 who think saying Zolo went all out vs Lucci is apparently a Zolo downscale. It's in fact a Lucci upscale, that's all. Zolo is comfortably stronger so Lucci being stronger simply upscales him

Zoro was even distracted by Sandai Kitetsu's reaction to Shodai, yet Gucci still couldn't connect a single hit on Zoro. This is Gucci we're talking about, a speedster. Then after that, Gucci was defeated with a single named attack. It's not even one of Zoro's top moves.

It was clear that Zoro vs Gucci was a blatant Stall Piece by Oda because he didn't want Zoro to disrupt the fight vs Saturn.

Also Zoro's CoO is massively underrated by other fandom just because they aren't part of the Zoro fandom lol.
