Future Events Cool things that WON'T happen in Elbaf!

Half of these kinda suck or are unnecessary ngl
A timeskip is a complete mistake at this stage in the story. Luffy’s a Yonko and various factions are making moves after Vegapunk’s announcement
Oda would have to explain all the major players doing nothing for X amount of time while Luffy and the gang fuck off and train in a corner
Upgrading the Sunny would be cool but it isn’t really necessary at all. It’s already far more advanced than 99% of the ships in the verse and (as far as we know) most other crews aren’t constantly improving their ships
Upgrades for the Strawhats will most likely happen there just won’t be any training arcs (Udon Prison sucked)
The actual consequences one is a little silly given the story you’re reading. Consequences on par with Luffy losing his crew to Kuma (which actually helped them) only happen in maybe 2-3 arcs in the whole series?
The Strawhats have come out unscathed in situations where they shouldn’t since chapter 1. It just is what it is

They all party.
Gaban: "Phew, that was a close one. Eat up, guys, but don't cheer too much. We've taken a whole week to solve this conflict, which outside Elbaf is a whole year."
All SHs:
Gaban: "Yeah. I'm afraid the world will no longer be like you knew it."
Narrator: While the SHs were occupied with their adventure in the Land of Giants, the world was shaken by three Major Incidents.
Cue cliffhanger.
Cue chapter divided into two parts: first about Incident A, the latter about incident B.
Narrator: As for Incident C... the seige on Mariejois on behalf of the Revolutionary Army... and what happened to their leader... Here begins:
Cue curtain panels, a la Wano, introducing:
The first One Piece arc completely devoid of any SH.
They all party.
