Does anyone still thinks the final villain is the eye patch pirate oda has been itching to draw ?
I feel like the eye patch pirate is gonna be the first evil pirate that was recorded (joyboy was the first pirate but he was righteous men ) but the first evil pirate ? I think that’s the eye patch pirate

It’s either someone summoned him from the dead or there is a new hidden character who is carrying his will

hmm, yeah I wonder. my bet for now is that it could be Rocks. and Rocks will be with us for a while, God Valley will remain relevant for the world building and such. maybe he hecked out an evil mastermind plan that lead to setting up Blackbeard for the throne.

maybe he will be a part of the whole final villain thing, but I doubt that a single new character will be the last villain. it would be respectless towards all the build up for Imu and Teach or Rocks.

You know how every character has parallels like
Luffy = joyboy
Zoro = ryuma
Shanks = roger
Etc

who is rocks = ancient parallels?

It's Joyboy, Teach is the one who is likely descended from Joyboy.
Saint Saturn himself mentions his special heritage, but doesn't even do this when discussing Luffy. The Gorosei only call Luffy "Garps grandson"
