For all the Love DBZ gets, it also has some of the Laziest writing in Manga. After Frieza's defeat there is a Year and Half Timeskip, followed by Ten Chapters then immediately into a 3 Year Timeskip. If any other series tried that it would be considered the peak of Laziness. 4.5 years in 12 chapters where nothing happens.
