Well Marines above Commodore seems to be allowed to see their true forms. Thats what we know so yeah.

Commodore and above may be allowed to see their true forms, but how often do they actually get to see them?

Didn't saturn say it was like 20 or so years since he even went to the surface?

I can see 3 options based on what we saw from Gaban:
a) Haki-related, obvious and likely one. Either another technique under the CoA tree like permanent infusion or it is aCoC adjacent.

b) Hit them quick enough to wherein the body doesn’t even register the attack yet and thus the healing doesn’t begin. Gaban blitzed Sommers twice and both times led to the regen stopped working. This is a big reach from me lol.

c) Could be that you need to hit them a certain way, there might be weak spots or a “core” like in FMA.
40 year old jimbo not reconized a new haki related technique seeing it infromt of him would be sad

We literally see him bleeding from her punches.

And Shamrock didn't decide to stab him in place of Gunko. Shamrock stabbed him cause loki personally pissed shamrock off with his threat.
Ok he bleed, the still stab did most of the relevant damage and that is mentioned by Zoro

Stabs are a big deal in the manga

Chopper wanting to learn how to beat immortality is good. It sets up all the strawhats to fight the Holy Knights/ Gorosei in the future.

HK performance also puts them strong enough to be EoS villains for the non m3 strawhats. They are well above YCs like King/Queen/Shilliew/Pizarro.

It's alright, leakers were giving way too much hype, making it seem like we would see Imu and fucking God Valley?
Gaban is cool, but he has to go, its the final saga and we cant have old guys saving the day anymore really. I do have to question the morals of him giving up though, now several kids could die, and he instead allowed that situation just over his child(who could still die), but whatever ig
I'll wait for the next chapters on the Brook stuff, I don't think he's Gunkos dad, though I cant say I really like the idea of a Gunko redemption and would prefer her just being a villain. A second Brook flashback would be nice though, I just don't see it being as close to as good as the first one.

Fujishiro

Just chilling

So VAs and Rear Admirals and Of course Admirals are allowed to see their true forms, nobody else. And Saturn appearing in Egghead is likely something that didnt happens in a long long time imo. @ZenZu

Actually Commodores arent allowed to. And yeah Saturn was in God Valley but in his human form.

Seems like Gunko's Arrows can only pierce through a target if the target happens to be in between the Arrow's destination, so if you intend to dodge the Arrows won't hit you.. That's only for the Arrows intended to make damage itself like Gunko did to Gaban..

A. Works on paper but the M3, Loki, Hajrudin and the rest don’t have enough time to learn it

As soon as they sense Imu’s haki or Chopper tells them what happened they’re heading out

B. Doesn’t work because Sommers still can’t regenerate so whatever Gaban hit him with lasts for a while

C. I guess could be true with the abyss mark theory but Gaban didn’t cut the right area unless there was an error

I think the haki thing is easy to learn for the M3, the others would have to find a way to just stall though. Zoro and Luffy learned acoc quickly, if it’s just something like flowing your haki into another body then it’s easy. Gaban really didn’t do anything special, visually speaking. We have limited options, it’s probably haki-related.

Stabs absolutely are aa big deal in the manga, not questioning that, but Zoro never mentions stabs when talking about Loki, just that he's got serious bloody wounds. Then luffy mentions later that he's bloody all over.
