it's simple. just say Roger is the combined parallel for zoro & luffy.
rayleigh and gaban would be the combined parallel for sanji. portrayed as keeping roger (zoro/luffy) out of trouble and being more level-headed.

No it feels like normal canon because everyone other than Zboys expected this
