Bonney is not a starring cast member in this arc, but she was, in the Egghead arc. Going to Elbaph was Dr. Vegapunk’s plan. Not much about Bonney will be necessary now, we got all the answers right before this arc.

With the way things are going so far during this arc, good characters that benefit from going to Elbaph seem to be only Straw Hat members, and Lilith (coming from Egghead).

Bonney’s biological father could have died, her “father” being Kuma is a classic One Piece thematic. It’s not a big deal, but the vibes are back.
