Nah this is a crazy take. Kaguya felt like a villain from another manga that lost her way into the Naruto verse during the most important event.

They really should've stuck with Madara and maybe tease the Otsutsuki.

At the very least Oda includes Imu in the events leading up to the grand finale.
Orochimaru is still the final villain. He's waiting to take Sasuke's great grandkids bodies

At this point, the first Nika, the one before Joyboy, I believe was a demon who liked humanity and rebelled against the demon that Imu refers to as "magician", who was given this grimoire that has the same effects as the fruits, but on a bigger and better scale.

Leaks
-There will be a great event (supremacy)will happen to Sanji even Zoro’s fans will be Sanji’s fans after that event
-Sanji will maintain the balance of the world
-Sanji will fusion with a mythical fiery bird* not obeying orders

*by obtaining new fruit / new suit depends on the translation

:mrgo:
It is happening on Elbaf isn't it?:crazwhat:

Bro I gotta keep it real and a buck 50: we know at least one particular big group of people that are ass mad about this and this has nothing to do with consistency or story writing but about oda introducing another powersystem that they mald about cause their head canon about haki brainrot works less with every new chapter
It sometimes gets annoying. Like, can we enjoy one chapter without all the agenda brainrot nonsense? We finally see the supposed FV doing his real move and it's real demonic power - a hint of the origin of the devil fruits and some people pretend Oda just pulled this outta his ass. One Piece was never the exception when it comes to final arc powercreep but I don't hate the final arc powercreep in particular, it needs to make sense.

The thing is, what is Oda planning to do with Imu and BB? Will BB steal Imu's power and become the new Earth God, is it the contrast or will BB and Imu fuse into something completely new?

I hope we get to see Luffy vs Akainu before things get too ridiculous.

Maybe we should stop resorting to made up, arbitrary rules that barely make sense, if we want to predict Oda's plans accurately.

Besides, a guy who has something akin to toon force and can do stuff like grab lightning, is hardly a mere brawler.
You’re forgetting that “toon force” (which Luffy doesn’t have but okay) is still primarily brawling… Like bugs bunny and tom and Jerry and Popeye are always physically brawling on top of their “toon force”

No one is “a mere” anything in one piece… Zoro isn’t a mere swordsman, he has several abilities that have nothing to do with swinging a sword… and yet he’s still a swordsman and Zoro’s last fight will most definitely be against a swordsman

Luffy similarly has other abilities on top of his brawling but he’ll still remain a brawler… And I’m not making up a random rule here, Oda himself simply doesn’t like drawing Luffy vs magicians… For example Imu is basically Gecko Moriah (the one and only magician fight Luffy has ever had)… Gecko Moriah also summons minion zombies (remember brook called The holy knights zombies) , his can also summon his shadow to fight for him, his shadow can transform into demonic creatures to fight too, all this without Moriah lifting a finger… Moriah even has a one hit kill ability of just stealing your Shodow without any brawling required.

and yet what did Oda do when Luffy was against this magician fighter? Well he made Oars the primarily opponent instead so that the fight can become a brawl and then Moriah used shadows Asgard to try and become a brawler himself and Luffy just punched the shadows out of him and that was it

Oda went out of his way to turn a magician fighter into a brawler because Luffy is a brawler and that’s how Oda likes his Luffy fights to play out… Teavh being a brawler and Imu being a magician HEAVILY CHANGES the odds on who becomes the final villain

Hmm, but the spell book is very specific… there’s no aspect of dfs that’s ever required incantations and spell books
The DF is the spell made fruit. The contract is the biting of the fruit.

The book is how to get DF abilities without tying the ability of a fruit.

It's probably what the WG wants to do with Nika's DF as well--severe it from the fruit, so it can be archived back into the book, where nobody except from IMU can use it.

So, can someone tell me something god-tier about Imu that I couldn't point to something even more impressive that another character has already done?:Think:

I'm sure that nothing he did in this chapter lived up to some people's expectations, and they're just pretending right now.

  • The giants have been utterly humiliated throughout this entire arc by the Holy Knights, who are, at best, commander-level fighters—clearly portrayed as weaklings who can be effortlessly crushed by anyone with decent hax. That’s why statements like “all of Elbaf uniting to stop Loki” are just laughable hype. They’re weak, plain and simple, even when they gather in large numbers.

  • Then we have their so-called "best," Brogy and Dorry, who are also complete disappointments. At best, they’re commander-level, and their abilities are mediocre at best. They’re pathetic at dealing with hax, and any loss they suffer will be exactly because of that—they’re nothing but brainless brutes.

  • Just like in the Marines, the Samurai, and now the Giants, there are levels of willpower within the ranks—from cannon-fodder soldiers to vice admirals, and then admirals. A strong Conqueror's Haki can affect all of them. But here, Imu’s Haki only wiped out the fodder among the giants, because there is no elite group among the giants standing above the rest. They’re all equally fodder, except for Brogy and Dorry. Unlike the samurai, where there’s a clear hierarchy—from the regular samurai to the daimyos, the Yakuza bosses, and the Red Scabbards.

  • Any top-tier character can completely crush Brogy and Dorry. They’re easy prey, one-shot material for base Kaido and his Thunder Bagua, which they wouldn’t even see coming. So Imu subjugating them is nowhere near a god-tier feat.

Honestly, I’m still waiting for Imu to show something truly terrifying—something that actually puts him in a whole different league. Because, frankly, this weak little display proves absolutely nothing.

Ray made the strongest admiral fall back at 80yo with liver cirrhosis and low testosterone

Made the final villain sweat even with more sick health
