Btw I’m pretty sure that we’ll never know who marked Gaban with flame scars.
Just like we’ll never know why Roger ordered his crew to split and go their way… that mofo gave them a restriction order even though they’re super friends :) Maybe they could have kept a denden mushi or a vivre card… instead we get Rayleigh drinking alcohol in his bar alone with his lady spending his days wondering where his friends are ….

1 year ago me would feel extremely stupid to say this.....
But i think that person being Rocks is a decent possibility now with the current development (at least the guy sailing the ship and making whirlpool)
A guy that was already defeated and seemingly killed long ago.........and he's nothing like Joyboy or Imu himself portrayed to be Godlike being, but Oda still hiding his appearance till now as if he's as big as the other two mentioned. Sounds really fishy.
There is a big fat chance the reason his appearance is kept hidden........because he could appear in current timeline.
No great reason for a flashback character of Roger era to be silhouette till now. And also his death wasn't explicitly describe in the story,
"after Kaido and BM lost their captain.........Rocks isn't here anymore" this are the only evidence coming from Sengoku mouth that shows he died(and he wasn't at GV). And this is not 100% credible and this is one piece...
Garp, Kaido, BM etc who could have confirm his death never talk anything about it.
To me it sounds
Point 1:
The WG hid him, after he was beaten, WG took him, have some conversations with Imu and made some deal, will see him in future
Point 2:
He falls to the sea (after beaten) thought to be dead by everyone. But he's still alive and he could be the Davy jones parallel. Got a poneglyph somehow and keep with himself.
The lurking legend theme also fits Rocks the most
