This chapter only confirms Gaban is weaker. It also confirms that wings doesn’t equal strength, nor does shoulder to shoulder. It confirms that the Sanji agenda is built on the back of Zoros and Rayleigh accomplishments.

what proof does anyone have that he went on to accomplish anything bigger than beating oden

in the 20 years after god valley
he obtained his mythical zoan
went from fighting moriah to defeating oden
after which oden the prophet claimed if he cant beat him, no one else in the current time will ( he was correct) .Wb hears about it and thats enough for him to stay away.




"the get as strong as you can" sounds more like a warning for the 20 years in which he predicted someone strong enough to beat him would appear . people taking this as confirmation kaido got levels stronger after this fight is imo very wrong. kaido himself tells you the people on his level in the current day and oden is right there.
