Chapter Discussion Chapter 216: Tunnel

#4
My reaction during that part

But including Luck Girl into the scene made the explanation work within the absurd universe where an emo can take on other people's personalities and skill sets

The chapter felt crazy short though
Yeah, in-universe the explanation works, but it's still bullshit. The author used it to save Shin from an unsavable situation, and excused it by dropping him into an even worse one.

But. I'm afraid next chapter we'll see an even bigger asspull to deal with all of these threats at once, and it may hinge on this particles explanation taken to its extreme.

That, or Shin has some even crazier thing in mind.

Honestly, the biggest asspull this chapter was Takamurazuki (Takamura Uzuki) not going off on the Uzuki gang when they arrived
Bloodlust must have been seeping all around and we know these personality switches are all but stable

Wow. Sakamoto Days randomly dipped into Particle and Wave physics.

That's kinda crazy, cool.

Basically, Atoms are 99.99% space. The energy moving through them moves so fast, that they appear to be solid matter to our monkey noggins. So, if you move faster than the atomic matter, you can move through the spaces within it.

Fun fact: Light itself does this all the time, Light is capable of moving through walls, straight up.

Lifeforms doing it is WILD, though, Atari is straight up busted.

Shin talking about "making your own luck" makes me think Atari can actually produce her own luck; there's a chance the JAA realized this, and manipulated Atari because they feared her power.

I think Shin has a good idea here, but Atari will be needed to make it work. Glad she wasn't a random one-off character, Atari is really cool.

atari put junk in a bag shook it and took out a gain, ataris powers are absurd thats the point and its not like the tunnel effect is physically impossible i was surprised by the backlash

taka sliced his own hand and reattached it because the cut was too clean/sharp

liked the chapter personally and the bad luck that came with it, hope shin takes out a member and not just escapes
