Character Discussion It’s hilarious that Queen is Franky’s father

I remember it's been a Theory since we the Timeskip that Franky's dad were with the Beast Pirates, ever since we saw The android on one of Kaido's Island.

Was it? Pre-Wano theories about Franky's parents either put them as (1) dangerous, but famous New World people; or (2) related to Vegapunk; or (3) connected to Roger.

And people still think Oda cares about any Straw Hat not named Luffy
Honestly, I'd rather pick Queen as Franky's deadbeat father, than Franky turning out to be connected to super-duper important-lineage lore-heavy Void-Century-royalty Deus-ex-Machina-bringing So-and-So.

Though, there could at least have been a passing comment about Queen recognizing the boy and not giving a fuck about him, but alas.

It’s not the info in itself that sucks ass

I don’t really care if Queen is Franky dad, why not frankly

But the atrocious thing if the info ends up true is that there were 0 interaction between them in Wano, 0 meaning that Queen is Franky dad and 0 interesting stuffs linked to that reveal. Queen and Franky being fatter and son and just never crossing paths in Wano is idiotic writing

Yknow speaking of potential Straw Hat matchups I find it funny Oda didn't give Jinbe a better opponent like Jack just so Inu could get revenge on Jack. Oda really flip flops on the whole "Fighting solely for revenge is bad" thing he established with Law vs Doffy and the Scabbards vs Kaido.

Pedro & Hiyori are big fuck-yous to that philosophy.
It's like modern Oda scraps everything at the start of a new arc, forgetting what message he's delivered in the previous arc, or what character development he has fulfilled.
For a quick example of it, see Bonney in the current story.
