Sengoku said that the Cross Guild is currently the biggest threat to the World Government even more than the Revolutionary Army or Blackbeard. That’s because their whole system is built around using the underworld pirates and bounty hunters to hunt Marines for profit. the yonko crew is design meant to destabilize the government .

As for Blackbeard, I really don’t see him going after the Holy Land directly. He knows his limits. Remember how fast he left Amazon Lily the moment Rayleigh showed up? If he backed off from that, there’s no way he’s charging into the Holy Land, where the Five Elders, Akainu, and other monsters are stationed. He knows the power difference.

Same with Cross Guild I don’t think they’re ready to make a move on the Holy Land yet. They’re still incomplete. They need people like Doflamingo and others to fill out the crew. If anything, their next logical move would be breaking into Impel Down to recruit before aiming higher.

The only group i can see attacking the World Government now is the Revolutionary Army, but even they backed off after Sabo's mission. I don’t think Dragon is planning another move until he uncovers Imu’s true agenda

The way the narrator presented them is different.
Kirin alone has been stated to have a DF.
The other ones were only named after a mythological creature, without it being tied to the DF-naming standard.

It'd cause chaos if it happened. Akainu for one would be PISSED. It might actually cause him to turn on the WG if they refused to help Kizaru and the SHs ended up saving him and Garp instead.

As for Borsalino I'd hate the idea of his next fight being another nerfed jobbing session especially since we probably won't even see most of it (BB's offscreen haki).

But if he got jumped and fought off multiple opponents I could tolerate it. His light might counter Teach's darkness and his barrier haki could help against Gura.

Be cool if he had one of those standard character-gets-second-wind-and-starts-kicking-ass type scenes after finding VP to be alive.

Anyways who knows...hopefully next chapter might clarify wtf is going on in MJ.

You mean BBP and RA allied with each other back in baltigo when BBP attacked them?

Would be insanely peak. And Drag on can save some face from the fraud allegations if he convinced the bbp to fight wg.

He was only able to do this because he genuinely acted to protect Luffy, thereby allowing the Power of Love to bypass Imu's contract restrictions forbidding Shanks from deliberating losing it.

There are two New Worlds, IMO.

The New World Yonkou Territory

And everything else.

Outside the Yonkou Crews, a 200 Million Pirate is a problem for most pirates, and most Marines. And from what we've seen, only insane pirates like most of the Supernova actually have the spine to attack the Yonkou.

Guys like Hawkins are way more common: float around a bit for a decade or so, then either die or get assimilated into a stronger crew. And even Hawkins was trying to get into a alliance to take down a Yonkou before Apoo sold him and Kidd and Killer out.

My pushback to this is Squard being over 50 years old. I think his age matters a great deal.

Having said that, I also am inclined to believe Oda's bounties underwent inflation, and Squard would probably have a higher one if he made his first appearance now. I think a range of 340~440M feels more appropriate.
