Literally no one other than Luffy did any significant damage to Kaido, dude. At least back when Luffy and Law fought Doffy together, Law destroyed Doffy's insides. Kaido only took superficial damages before his 1-on-1 duel against Luffy started.

Bruh Luffy died and got rejuvenated in between fights. Kaido was fighting while lifting an island.

IF Shanks was immortal during their duels and his fight with BB then it is Blackbeard who gets the definite upscale for leaving a permanent scar on an immortal while Mihawk is the one with the maybe

And this isn't even Mihawk downplay but rather Blackbeard facts

I said "maybe" for Blackbeard not because of feat(permanent scarring is a great feat indeed), but timeline(its implied he got that scar before the events of this fb). That's why I said, depending on when he got the mark of the abyss(if it's from birthday or if it's something he received later in life, like when he visited Marijoa for example).

If it's the former, Blackbeard is in the timeline, but if it's the latter, it's questionable, on the contrary with the Mihawk case where we know they were duelling at that time

Kaido needed no effort to lift that island, the clouds were doing all the work.

And Luffy getting healed is nothing new, especially since no one else pressed Kaido as far as he did.
