Character Discussion The only 2 Antagonists Luffy has killed, and who he could kill next?

#1
But the difference is, one was Non-Canon (Baron Omatsuri) and the other was Canon (Kaido), also a little fun trivia: during the end of the movie and the Arc, it was used the same soundtrack, at the end of the movie and when Robin saw Omatsuri's googles and the one when Straw-Hats saying their farewell to Yamato, Kinemon and Momonosuke.

Who could Luffy kill next? I think he will kill Akainu, Blackbeard and Imu

Didn't Oda say that Luffy never kills his opponents? (Even tho in some cases it looks like the other mozo is dead)
Not everything Oda says is correct, generally speaking, you know who is actually more correct than the author? The real fans ofc.
Or maybe not, Luffy did intend to Kill Kaido, he really said "I'm gonna drill you all the way to the deepest depths of hell" before unleashing Bajrang Gun at him, maybe at the moment Kaido covered himself into his lava form, that kinda reminded Luffy of Akainu whom killed Luffy's brother.

Also when Kidd told Luffy "let's kill her" the "her" refers to BM, he was like "let's do it"

I mean sure but we've seen "deaths" like this before where it seems certain that someone died just for them to randomly show up again
Pell is a great example of that

Also, when Luffy throws his finish blow, he doesn't really care about his opponents, it's up to them whether they survive from it or not, Luffy ain't no saint or something, he's a pirate after all, like also, when Luffy hit Doffy with the KKG and Luffy still remembers the people Doffy has killed and especially Corazon whom was Law's father figure, you don't think Luffy didn't care about whether Doffy comes out of his final attack alive or not? KKG should've maybe killed Doffy or it wasn't strong enough...Idk, it was only enough to KO him, what really could've killed Doffy is when the city block got destroyed, any of the massive rocks that was flying could've crashed into Doffy and like that, he maybe dies.

Just like when Kaido fell into lava, ofc as we know, Luffy's punch didn't kill Kaido, it just flash KO'd him or maybe KO'd him outsold as he returned to his original form, but what could've killed Kaido is the lava but this time, Luffy knew that the punch he delivered to Kaido would send him into something that might end Kaido's life.

Luffy isn't an intentional killer but he genuinely does not care about his opponent surviving.
They'll have a full on fight and Imu will die in a volcano or drown in the ocean or something like that that.

Also, Luffy does not have a no kill code. Oda doesn't have him kill anybody but never has the character himself gone out of his way to ensure that his opponent doesn't die in the same manner that somebody like Batman or Vash the Stampede does.

Batman and Vash intentionally guarantee the survival of their opponents. Luffy leaves it up to chance.

Luffy runs on this logic.

Also I remembered Sabo too, Sabo survived a rocket launcher hitting his head as a kid, unlike Albert Wesker who had same fates as Kaido and Sabo (as a child only) simultaneously but what really killed him is just the Rockets piercing his head but Sabo was still alive, and yeah, if Wesker can still not get incinerated from the lava, why wouldn't Kaido? also I speculate that Kaido falling into the lava chamber is what caused the eruption maybe, maybe when he woke up inside the lava, he transformed into lava dragon again and caused the eruption, also, Lava are not water that weakens DF users, we need to know that, cause if it were, Akainu should've gotten weaker when he was fighting Ivankov and chasing Luffy and Jinbe.
