Parasocial relationships in general are deranged. Like I LOVE Cocteau Twins, but you'll never see me sitting here talking as if I know the members personally and got an autograph from them.
I just dont understand how people are that attached to celebrities or fictional characters. And it's fine if you just admire them and think they're good at acting or singing (a good example is Jack Black, I'd be sad if he died, but at the end of the day I don't know the guy lol), but worshipping them is crazy.
