I list just a few of my current issues with this series.
  1. 15 pages or less for a weekly/bi-weekly release.
  2. Snail pacing, with little to no progression over multiple chapters.
  3. Denji still doing things for a chance to touch boobies or maybe get laid.
  4. Asa being sidelined for way too long, o ly to make a short cameos before being sidelined again.
  5. The art is getting worse instead of better.
  6. A lack of quality characters and character dynamics.

Eh I don't blame him for doing a shorter amount of pages and having worse art lately since it does seem like having to consistently produce chapters on a weekly basis is taking a bit of a toll on him, but I agree the pacing is a bit bad and the characters aren't as good as they were before.
I don't mind Denji doing that because it's clear that he's obviously not healed yet, he's still got a lot of mental turmoil and he's not just going to be a normal dude especially considering he just saw his sister's decapitated head and he lost his pets and apartment.

Any hate for Part 2 I've seen is in the minority, most people still seem to be enjoying Part 2 of CSM.

I do agree with the pacing being bad.

As for me, while I do believe Part 1 is better, I'm still enjoying Part 2, yes some chapters aren't the best but there are still others that have been really good and enjoyable.

Like this current chapter I don't believe was that bad, Yoru wanted Denji to save her, but instead Asa came through and saved Denji instead, which is nice because a while back you had Denji saving Asa.

The 'problem' with part 2 is the pacing and the fact that it's already longer than part 1 for like 12 chapters, more or less an entire volume basically. What's more, it doesn't seem to be nearing its end, or at the very least if the end were to come it would be rushed. I am not sure if Fujimoto plans on having part 3 of CSM as well, but it could be doable, without the ending being rushed. Just have the final battle with Death spill over to part 3 as well. Part 2 can serve as setting the stage for the ultimate conflict.

To add as well, I believe the vast majority of the people binged CSM part 1, or at the very least had a big supply of chapters to go through before catching up, as I sincerely doubt a lot of people followed it from chapter 1. That made it easier and more fast paced as well. I myself binged all 97 chapters in like 6 hours lmao. I did a small re-read but yeah it flows better without the constant breaks.

How do you feel about this chapter

It's an alright chapter, nothing too spectacular. I gave it a 3/5. Will most likely flow better when you read it in succession.
Yeah I think the same. Like you said in your other post this is basically a calm before the storm type of thing, I think this altercation with the Falling Devil will toughen Denji up a bit and make him understand not everything is a game especially given that the strongest devil in existence is now here

I was there from the very first chapter and I've been enjoying the ride since then

What were the most thrilling or shocking moments for you?
Curious since you're probably one of few people here who read it while it was still in it's crawling stage
I already knew about Fujimoto because of Fire Punch

- 1st chapter got me with the gore, the main character was a real nobody, and a pretty stupid one, which makes sense due to his poor education. He felt unique. + Power, + Aki, + Makima being very well written and built to make Denji shine every aspect of his personality. Being horny but actually just feeling lonely. Kisibe is cool too

- Vomit situation was really fun / I liked Himeno and Ghost. Kobeni dodging snake wasn't expected at all.

- Makima resurrection, the WiFi killing and the echi content was unexpected. She being ultra manipulative and killing Power was superb.

- Reze ripping Denji's tongue.

- Baby Sharknado moment xD.

- The whole saga of the international assassin, Quanxi was cool, Darkness was too powerful, I didn't expect Violence to die and the survivors losing their arms.

- Gun devil's development, Aki's death.

- Power resurrection + last blood chainsaw against Makima. (I have the panel of Denji and Power reunion in the trash container tattooed).

That's for part 1

Part 2 isn't as good but I have to re-read it once is over to really judge. It's been a wild ride, it feels like Sueisha gave him a lot of money to continue it but he didn't know how, or at least didn't had the time to perfectionate it, most of the new characters aren't as memorable as those form part 1, He knows that and is constantly trying different routes instead of building the current narratives... Even though I still enjoy it, because feels fresh and free from constrictions I understand that some people might not like it. If the final is great he will be redeemed... I remember that Denji did a contract with Power and still didn't fulfill it I hope Fujimoto does.

Wait, would you be willing to show the tattoo? If you want, I mean, no pressure though
