I never saw D.Gray-man but I'll still vote for this @Tyki_Mikk character.

The monogatari series definitely is a rabbithole to fall into, it's got quite a few episodes spread out over different "seasons" and has one of the most confusing watch orders to anyone who isn't a diehard fan - but it's not difficult to find a reddit post or whatever that lists the reccomended watch order.
I can say without a doubt that this series is one of a kind and I have absolutely nothing else I can compare it to, it can be on the slower side of things but it's extremely well written and has a lot of deep philosophical questions and ideas being explored in quite unique ways.
It really rewards you with a lot of food for thought, entertainment and intigue if you sink your teeth into it

Regulus was fairly alright in comparison to the others imo. I only ever watched Re-Zero season 1. For some reason I keep putting it off and I'm playing games over watching anime for a while now. Also I barely remember Pride from FMA but that guy was weird even to me so I voted for him lol.

I can't say anything about the latter, but when comparing Regulus to Makima, yeah Makima is the better villain.
She was pretty much the main villain in Chainsaw Man Part 1.
Regulus was only a main villain during Arc 5 and he wasn't even the only main villain in that arc and also for many, Regulus was handled a bit more better in the light novel compared to the anime.
Regardless I do still believe Regulus was a good villain but he is no Makima.

Oh, I agree Regulus is a good villain, but it is also true that his hot-tempered behavior is too annoying for him to build a great villain cred for manga/anime audience.
When I think of best anime/manga villains that are commonly accepted as such, aka the likes of Johann, Dio, Makima, and Griffith, they share the trait of being mostly calm and collected. In comparison, Regulus is really bratty. This, I am certain, does not help with his reputation, particularly in this contest.
