Pokemon Capsules

Copper Capsules: Will have a 100% chance of holding a Pokemon from Gen 1 to 7

Silver Capsules: Will have a 25% chance of holding a Pseudo-Legendary from Gen 1 to 7. In the event that all Pseudo legendaries are taken the player will receive a rare Pokemon instead.

Gold Capsules: Will have a 5% chance of holding a Legendary from Gen 1 to 7.

Every 3-5 hours a Pokemon Capsule event will happen and offer the choice to the players, you will then PM me your capsule of choice. And this will continue until 5 events happen, after that the day will end. You may talk in the thread in the meantime but it is not a requirement. Players who by the end of the 5 events didnt PM me a capsule of their choice I will RNG the missing ones for them.

Good luck, and I of course suggest that you do not reveal which pokemon youve gotten or which rarity of capsule you’ve chosen.
This was updated, do not discuss outside of this thread and do no post yet.

Wild Areas:

During the first half of each day players may choose to venture into the wild area to catch some Pokemon. Those that have received less total pokemon during day 0 will have a higher chance of capturing Pokemon then those who didnt. If you happen to have 6 Pokemon you may at anytime choose to visit the Pokemon center and store one of them and replace them with one you caught.

Technical Machines:

Some roles will come with technical machines, or TMs. Those TMs possess abilities you may use as if you were using a Pokemon or you can teach them to one of yours. This will increase its number of usage but you will need to replace one of your Pokemons base abilities for that.

Money:

Each start of day you will be assigned a fixed amount of money of 200 $, you may raise that amount of money by challenging players to a game of RPS, the winner gains half of the players remaining money.

Pokemarts:

The Pokemarts will be open for business as soon as the first half of day 1 is over. There, you can purchase useful items like Pokeballs which increase your chance of catching Pokemon, etc. The number of items on display will increase as the game goes on.

Pokemon League:

The Pokemon League event will open somewhere around the start of day 1, up to 8 players can join. More on this later.

Pokemon Evolution and Mega Evolutions:

For players who received unevolved Pokemon will evolve over time into their final forms, also for their Mega Evolutions be on the lookout for events and peruse the Pokemart every now and then to try your luck at finding their mega stone.

Pokemon Types New

Pokemon type charts and their effectiveness on each other:( very important)

This game will feature pokemon typings affecting your abilities and how they work on you or on a target.(This of course doesnt take into account a pokemons passive ability and or abilities that ignore or dodge, etc)

Here is a simplified chart explaining your Pokemon's strengths and weaknesses:

The way this wil work is this:

Abilities that have a neutral effect on a type ( AkA those not included in the weakenesses, strength or vulnerabilities of a type) like for example normal vs flying will happen normally with no modifier.

Abilities that are strong against another, for example Bug vs Grass. The ability will be amplified.

Alternatively if the ability is weak against another, for example Bug vs Flying then the ability will be downgraded.

Now this all culminates into one thing, players may each start of the phase choose their lead Pokemon. That Pokemon will then take the brunt of whatever attacks them. So if its an attack that they are strong against they could nullify or neuter it.

Factional kills will ignore this.
