We are not in the middle. The main role of Elbaf's saviour has to be played by no one other than Usopp. We are far away; moreover, Luffy and his crew will be defeated by Imu, and only then will they return. This is the pattern that happened in almost every arc. And If Imu is the final villain, you know he will defeat the whole crew. Especially because we just got an excuse why we lost the first battle - no one knows how to use COC.

In loki case it going to be differnt cause no other kid in story going have a country blame everything on him even if his father on his side.
Still in terms of seeing something differnt we already knew a lot of aspect of loki back story even before this flash back . ( country blaming him , mother dying young , him being ass hole and super strong from young etc etc.
So kinda knew what to expect even before this flashback which why is harland the more important aspect .

- Some time later (when Harald was overseas) Estrida gave birth to Loki, a baby with demonic eyes (his eyes looked like Sauron’s). She got panicked and decided to throw Loki down to the Underworld. Then Estrida ordered the servants to tell king Harald that the baby was born dead.

- Then, in the EPIC final double page of the chapter, we see baby Loki crying while was crawling up the Treasure Tree Adam. Baby Loki was very injured because he fougth againts some of the beast from the Underworld.

so if she died later, then means loki father decided to put the blind fold on his son, so he get less attacked. or maybe eda

You are going to be disappoint cause arc will not turn out that way .
Nearly half the crew already get beat and tied up and Imu being final villain don't mean he has to beat the whole crew.
In fact BB who is in running for final villain has never even meet all the SH and he run into luffy twice . ( 3 times if you count burgess )
Also the people that have CoC will know how to use it that is why we had Gaban told them what hurts the HK.
Imu not even fully here so i doubt Oda will even go all out with his fight just like how most fights on egghead were short .

I don't think Shanks would be able to beat Loki if he saw the world and trained his haki.

Loki saw the world or should have seen a good part of it he was one the seas for years.
The SH have seen \been on so many places and they not even travel a year yet on the seas.
Also Shanks is Oda golden boy he beating anyone Oda want even if loki did train his haki lol.
