I think I figured it out.

I think that there is a tragic story involving Jarul. After 344 years of living together, he lost his brother Jorul in some cruel way to the demon Linlin.
It is possible that this has taken some toll on our guy Jarul. What if Jarul evolved some sort of multiple personality disorder, because now that he lost his brother Jorul, he realized that he is sorta lonely and suffering. He evolved a cope mechanism and created an imaginary friend in his mind...a person called "Mosa".

This would be fantastic writing because this is something children sometimes tend to do, once they realize they have some sort of imagination and power of it.
With Jarul I think, this sadly turned into an unhealthy version of that, one where Mosa tends to come out beyond Jarul's control.

All in all I think, that this is not a bad thing for Loki. I think Mosa will serve as a healthy inspiration for Loki by the end. Maybe a sort of better rolemodel than Xebec could be.

There is more I could add to this. But this was just a shower thought and I had to get this one out.

Yes there is a common fan theory right now, where alot of people think that Mosa could be Jarul.
My theory builds up on it and gives an explanation on how this came to be.

Idk, I am not an expert.
Maybe, though mosa sounds like a girl who not on elbaf. She probably a slave.

Though that be plot twist if it really is from split personality, from the old grandpa.

The rolemodel who'll make Loki forget about Xebec is going to be Luffy.

Personally, of all the different Mosa theories going around, the one that could have the widest impact and shake the narrative for the better would be Mother Carmel having survived as a homie in the Heaven World. It'd explain Jarul's "I like MILFs" comment, and link BM's backstory to the current plot.
