You think this is a retcon or fixing a mistake?

This definitely changes everything . My suspect was right she was adopted to the CD family after being captured as slave .

So she's a born Celestial dragon and not a misunderstood victim.

I hope Oda doesn't give redemption to an evil woman like Gunko!
She hunted and killed people. She destroyed kingdoms. She kidnapped children.
We saw her flashback she wasn’t part of Celestial family .

We never saw her full flashback, that was just a small flashback with Brook.

So we still don't know the full story, also why would a Celestial Dragon adopt a slave and make that slave a member of their own family?

If she was royalty and from a Kingdom, and they decided to adopt her, that could make a bit more sense.

Either way, she is part of a Celestial Dragon Family, Oda simply made a mistake and forgot to put that in her intro box, now whether she was born into the family or adopted into the family remains to be seen.

Or maybe this.
Alternatively, she was indeed the princess of the kingdom Brook came from and married into the Mamayer Family.

Yes could be anything at this moment . To be fair Oda changing Gunko and Shamrocks title was bit of a surprise for me . I think in a way he revealed bit more . He originally didn’t want mixed blood to have sei title but Shamrocks appointment to commander made no sense if he was not pure blood or CDs are actually allowed to mingle with commoner but the mixed race especially basterd kids were meant to be soldiers . I am interested where Ida takes it from here .

But it contradicts everything with CDs despising commoner but they have Holy knights who are mixed blood . It makes no sense why they have Saint title .
